You are so right in what you say about Lewis being quotable. I really think he was one of the great minds of the 20th century. Like you, I constantly find myself using his words to explain something. He is an inspiration to me. His writing – especially the Narnia books, I suppose – has influenced so many people for good. I would love to follow in his footsteps in this, and am trying, in my much inferior way, to do so.Gerry McCulloughhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00063245623305522268noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2214299962296344382.post-13875955360361883392012-07-27T17:01:49.490+01:002012-07-27T17:01:49.490+01:00Gerry,

I've read most of Lewis's books several times and find myself tempted to quote him on any and all occasions. Like Shakespeare, Lewis is so eminently quotable that his words leap to the front of one's mind continually.

BillWilliam A. I haven't read the Narnia books since I was a girl and I haven't read any of his others, but I do find him an interesting person and I've got them all on my extensive (and growing, always growing) to-read list.
